GMB viewers blast show for giving Nigel Farage air-time and threaten to ‘switch off’

Nigel Farage was invited to talk on Friday’s Good Morning Britain and viewers were not happy.

The Brexit Party leader, 56, appeared on the early morning series to speak to hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Ben Shephard after he gave a gushing speech at a Donald Trump rally in Arizona on October 28.

Nigel – who was speaking from the Trump hotel in Washington D.C – spoke about his loyalty to his pal Donald and told how he believes that that the President will win the upcoming US election.

As the former UKipper continued to compliment Trump and refuse to condemn the increasing rates of Covid-19 in the US, a number of GMB viewers fumed at ITV for booking him to star on the show and threatened to switch off their TVs.

“He beat the pollsters. He beat the media. He beat all the predictions. And here’s the worst bit, they’ve never forgiven him for it.”

He went on: “They’ve spent four years trying to delegitimise him. Four years of the Russia hoax.

“When you vote next week, you are not just voting for who the President of the United States of America is, vital though that question may be. You are voting for the leader of the free world,” he said.

“You are voting for the only current leader in the free world who has got the guts to stand up and fight the nation state. To fight for patriotism. To fight against globalism.

“You’ll be voting for the only leader in the western world with the real courage to stand up to the Chinese Communist Party.”

He added: “You’ll be voting for decency, plainspeaking and a man who in four years hasn’t just cut your taxes, hasn’t just improved the economy, but a man who right now is bringing Israel together with Arab nations in a way that nobody ever believed was possible, and that’s what he’s done and I wish you gospeed.”
