New Boost Juice smoothies: Soy sauce, smokey BBQ and balsamic strawberry

2021 has seen yet another plot twist with the launch of three limited edition Aussie BBQ-inspired smoothies by Boost Juice. With Soy Sauce, Smokey Mango BBQ and Balsamic Strawberry – we’re not sure whether to be curious or concerned…

Just when we thought the state of the world couldn’t get any more strange and ~unusual~, Boost Juice had to go ahead and drop three outrageously wild, limited edition smoothies.

The smoothie flavours in question, you ask? Well, just your run-of-the-mill Soy Sauced, Smokey Mango BBQ and Balsamic Strawberry – flavours inspired by Aussie BBQs, of course!

We’re very unsure how to feel about this unexpected turn of events; but boy are we curious.

Strange saucy smoothies

The Soy Sauced is reportedly an ~interesting~ twist on the traditional salted caramel mix, and is made with real soy sauce. Cool, cool, cool – salty meets sweet.

The Smokey Mango BBQ apparently boasts flavours of flame-grilled juicy mango. (Not opposed to this at all). While the Balsamic Strawberry has been likened to “a fancy dressed BBQ salad that screams, ‘I’ve got my life together!’”.

Honestly, at this point, we’re open to anything that’ll make us feel like we have our lives together.

“Kick this back to 2020 where it belongs”

Reactions to the news of the dangerously daring line of smoothies were…passionate to say the least.

“I haven’t even gotten out of bed yet and I am already frightened of the day ahead,” one Facebook user declared.

“Is someone pregnant? Sounds to me something like a weird pregnant craving,” another user pondered.

“Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should”, remarked another.

And someone even went as far to proclaim, “kick this back to 2020 where it belongs.”

Ouch.

“Boost knows what they’re doing”

It doesn’t seem as though it’s all grim news, however – with one adventurous punter reporting their findings on the new flavours on Facebook:

“Just tried the mango. It’s actually really good. The BBQ sauce gives it body.”

Hmmm, we’re listening…

“Boost knows what they’re doing. I tried the balsamic [strawberry] yesterday and it was amazing. Was kinda like a sweet strawberry squeeze with a touch of tang,” they excitedly continued.

“Okay but balsamic and strawberry is a great combo,” expressed one Instagram user.

The limited edition Soy Sauced, Smokey Mango BBQ and Balsamic Strawberry smoothies are available now at Boost Juice for a short time – so get in quick if you’re feeling adventurous enough!

We’re not too sure how we feel about these new wacky flavours. But then again… guess it’s a case of ‘don’t knock it till you try it’.
