Wayne Lineker baffles Celebs Go Dating fans with his odd armpit chat-up line

Ibiza nightclub owner Wayne Lineker left Celebs Go Dating fans cringing over his odd pick-up line in Tuesday’s episode.

The 58-year-old, who has famously never dated anyone over the age of 30, was seen chatting to 25-year-old Billie Jean – and all appeared to be going well.

But instead of firing Billie-Jean compliments about her eyes or her hair like most would, Wayne opted for a slightly more unconventional approach, reports Daily Star.

As the pair sat on the sofa, Wayne confessed: “I love your armpits babe”.

Billie-jean, who was clearly taken aback by the odd remark, replied: “What?”

Viewers were just as baffled as Billie-Jean

Wayne continued: “They’re the best armpits I’ve ever seen”, to which the model said: “They are good armpits, to be honest.”

Viewers of the show quickly took to Twitter to comment on the unusual compliment.

One person said: “Wayne Lineker telling Billie-Jean she has nice armpits. Epic compliment mate.”

Another commented: “Wayne Lineker’s chat is the worst I have ever, ever seen. Armpit talk. Marriage talk. Sounding like he has no enthusiasm. Mate! #CelebsGoDatingTheMansion.”

“Wtf am I witnessing here… armpit love”, with a laughing face emoji wrote a third.

While a fourth wrote: “Armpits?!”

And: “I’ve never had an armpit compliment… raging,” another said.
