PM Modi on Wednesday called for mutual recognition of vaccine certificates in order to address the pandemic’s economic effects. He also emphasised on the need to keep supply chains of raw materials open to ramp up vaccine production to ensure resumption of vaccine supplies to others nations.The summit is being convened on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. The aim of the summit is to rally world leaders, philanthropists, civil society, NGOs, and industry “to align on a common vision to end Covid-19 together” by the end of 2022.
