Republican Kingmaker · The Floridian

The 2022 midterm elections could prove to be the barometer in which former President Donald Trump— who is making the case for Republican Kingmaker this election cycle—gauges whether or not he will run for re-election in the 2024 presidential election.

There is little doubt to anyone that President Trump is considering another run, not only because he feels he was cheated in 2020, but because of President Joe Biden’s disastrous foreign and economic policies that have sent American exceptionalism into a tailspin since he took office.

The contrast between the Trump policies and those of Biden’s is indisputable.

Trump raised Americanism and love for flag and country, Biden has all but burned the flag to the ground.

President Trump is proactively vetting Republican congressional candidates who he believes have what it takes to not only defeat Democratic candidates and incumbent legislators but will push through his America First Agenda.

Every Republican candidate running for office wants Trump’s blessing, but very few actually get a chance to meet with the unquestionable leader of the Republican Party. The golden admission ticket to see President Trump is pretty hard to come by.

One of those candidates who made the cut is former U.S. Army Combat veteran Cory Mills, who met with the president this past week.

Mills posted an image of him, an associate, and the president at Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, where the veteran stated that “It was an honor to meet our President this week to discuss Florida’s 7th District,” where the two men discussed reversing the “Socialist movement” being propagated by Congressional Democrats and the Biden Administration.

“We must fight the DC corruption and ensure election integrity and democracy is protected,” tweeted Mills. “We MUST get back to an America First agenda and stop the socialist movement. Thank you, President Trump!”

According to a source, Trump was taken back by Mills’ recent rescue mission to Afghanistan where he safely recovered an American family of four.

Mills’ rescue mission made so many headlines, that Trump is said to have called for an immediate meeting with Mills.

Mills is currently in a contested Republican primary race against State Rep. Anthony Sabatini, who has been running as a Trump candidate since first announcing his run for the U.S. House of Representatives.

Trump could be in a bit of a pickle in this primary race between Mills and Sabatini.

Sabatini is a known quantity in the area, and Mills’ name recognition has skyrocketed since his return from Afghanistan.

But will Trump be forced to pick one over the other, or could the “Kingmaker” broker a deal that would put both men on separate paths, in parallel districts, to the Republican nomination?

Florida’s 7th congressional district is considered a ‘swing‘ or ‘moderate’ seat in Congress, and Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D), the incumbent, is seen as a centrist lawmaker.

Both men are as Conservative as you can get, but taking on and defeating Rep. Murphy could be a big challenge for both if they don’t measure their words.

Rep. Murphy has already labeled Sabatini an ‘extremist’ for running on Trump’s name.

While Murphy could prove to be an easy target due to her support for the ‘Build Back Better” agenda, late-term abortion, and other progressive legislative measures, could in-your-face, bomb-throwing campaign tactics give Murphy an edge in a moderate congressional district?

Trump has already weighed in on other races, endorsing Sen.Marco Rubio, and Rep. Mike Waltz, among other local and state candidates.

If Trump-minded Republicans control the U.S. Congress after Election Night 2022, why wouldn’t Trump run in 2024?
