GST revenue collection in Maharashtra for May 2022 was Rs 20,120 crore, 50% higher than the mop-up for the month last year, which was Rs 13,399 crore.However, the collection was 26% lower than in April this year, when the figure was Rs 27,495 crore. The collection in the month of May reflects the returns for April, the first month of the financial year. It is always lower than in April, which pertains to the returns for March, the closing of the financial year.
