ITV Britain’s Got Talent viewers in stitches as Simon Cowell gets ‘told off’ by 7-year-old finalist over ‘gross’ habit

The Britain’s Got Talent final is finally gracing our screens tonight (Sunday, June 5). Among the line-up is 7-year-old Aneeshwar Kunchala, who has got viewers of the hit ITV show in stitches for ‘telling off’ judge Simon Cowell for ‘sticking chewing gum under his table’. Aneeshwar is a keen environmentalist who has been raising awareness on the show about the urgent need to start taking more care of our planet. The seven-year-old made it all the way to the BGT finals – and even ended up telling off Simon in episode.

Fans of the talent show were in hysterics, with one writing, “Simon’s just been told off by a seven year old for having gum under the desk #BGT.” Another said: “aneeshwar calling out simon for having gum under his desk,” alongside a laughing emoji. Another one dubbed the whole situation ‘wholesome’, saying, “Aneeshwar calling out Simon about his chewing gum & blue tac & then asking the judges for a picture. Wholesome. #bgt.”

A fourth viewer added: “Aneeshwar just ratted out Simon after he told ITV to offer the boy his own show!” Other viewers were as aghast at Simon’s actions as the finalist was, with one exclaiming, “Eww Simon put his used chewing gum under his table…wtf?? Is this the 80s?? #BGT.”

Yet more were calling for the seven-year-old to win, as one wrote, “Aneeshwar to win @BGT. Think how many kids are impressed by people on TV, just imagine the positive impact he could make for our planet.”
