Harry Styles Addresses His Sneaky One Direction IG Story At Concert

Harry Styles addressed that One Direction selfie during a concert on Tuesday night and somehow his answer was actually the least wild part of that interaction.

While reading signs at a concert in Auckland, New Zealand, Harry came across one truly bizarre claim from a fan who was holding a sign that said: “Sold our cat’s leg to be here”. I bet you didn’t expect this to the direction this article was going in.

The sign was probably complete BS in order to get Harry’s attention but hey, it worked!

Obviously baffled, Harry then peppered the fan with a bunch of questions, including asking what on earth someone would buy a cat leg for.

They replied that it was a “secret”, which, just — what the fuck. Bonkers but I admire it!

“It’s a secret?” Harry asked.

“I guess some of us have secrets. Maybe, like some people, you choose to keep it to yourself,” he said.

“And maybe one day, you accidentally post it to your Instagram Story.”

Cue the crowd going absolutely WILD.

ICYMI, Harry Styles posted (and then swiftly deleted) a mirror selfie to his Instagram Story while at the gym on Monday. Usually, that’s enough to warrant a welfare check on the stans among us, but this particular photo included him wearing a One Direction shirt for his morning workout.

This behaviour from Mr Styles understandably sent fans into an absolute meltdown as everyone desperately tried to decipher what on earth it was supposed to mean.

Was it intended for his close friends list? Or maybe a finsta account? Was Harry Styles trying to not-so-subtly tease some kind of thing involving him and his fellow One Direction lads? Or was it just some comfy old merch he likes to sweat in? How do I get on that close friends list??

The shirt he donned for the workout was One Direction’s merch from 2012’s Up All Night tour, which was the group’s first headlining tour to support their debut album. Bless, that shirt’s well over 10 years old now, I’m impressed it’s still in relatively good nick.

It was an interesting choice to wear the merch from a tour that’s just passed the 10-year anniversary though, Harry. Would be a shame if everyone looked way too much into it…

While theories and speculation were flying around like nobody’s business, some fans worked faster than a dog with a bone and broke down the rest of this particular fit for the masses. Doing the Lord’s work, I tell you what.

A lookbook account tracked down the extremely loud gym shoes Harry was wearing in the since-deleted photo and identified them as Hoka Clifton 8 runners that retail for about $150. RIP to anyone working in a shoe shop that slings Hokas.

Considering Harry’s recently-wrapped Aussie tour brought tens of thousands of fans to their knees in the last couple of weeks, it’s no surprise the t-shirt was subjected to a CSI forensics lab level of analysis.
