The state of Illinois has the toughest gun laws in the country and yet we all know they do not deter criminals. Rather than imposing more gun laws on law abiding citizens, the federal government should make it a federal law that any person who possesses or uses an assault weapon during the commission of a crime should receive a sentence of not less than 15 years in a federal prison. That law would make it impossible for the Cook County state’s attorney to give them a slap on the hand and have them walk out the revolving door.

Apt adage: “Criminals obey guns laws like politicians follow their oaths of office.”

It is not an accident that millions of people are crossing our borders illegally. It’s by design. The far left globalist enemies of America who have worked for decades to gain control over our country have secured control over our compromised corrupt president. Their handlers have controlled everything he has done. It’s why the Democrat Party won’t stop demeaning Donald Trump.

Mark from Orland Park thinks it’s horrible to shoot to deter these downtown riots. These rampaging punks have no respect for the law, property or even human life. Giving the order to shoot would at least make them think twice. Maybe Mark would also think different if these punks were attacking him or his family.

Joe Biden spoke last weekend to say how important it is for the U.S. to have a free press. Well, he should be very happy with the free press for suppressing the Hunter laptop story before the election, promoted the false Russian collusion story against Trump, and allows him to have preprinted cards before press conferences that shows a picture of the reporter he is to call on, the preprinted question they are to ask him, and the answer that was prepared for him to read. That’s really free press.

Is Wes, Orland Park the new Marv, Bridgeview, who gives us disparaging and distorted comments about Christians as a whole? I wonder if someone wrote the same comments as Wes on Monday, May 1 and merely substituted the word “Muslims” for “Christians” and “Quran” for” Biblical” if you would dare print it even though every bit as factual?
