As recently as the YouTube website came to attention, the Google search engine has noticed that it has been altered and replaced. The company’s profile was reassessed by a hashtag @sindowne (who seems to be very concerned with the experiment and the new design). Some users quickly discovered the new layout and they woke up without changing the page.
The new layout takes up the whole section below the video itself.
The layout is still being tested, and with that in mind, it could still change.

Google isn’t afraid of redesigning the user interface. The company used countless times to improve the layout of its flagship video sharing platform by a combination of methods of communicating with customers in different countries over the years.
It’s possible that Google I/O, on May 10th, to redesign the design was announced. Aside from that, it is perfectly possible that the layout will never see the light of day.
