It’s not everyday one has the opportunity to sit down for some drinks with a royal couple!
Prince William, Prince of Wales and Catherine, Princess of Wales (aka Kate Middleton) enjoyed 2 pints of cider while chatting with local business owners at the Dog and Duck pub on Thursday (May 4) in London, England.
Prince William actually got to draw up a pint himself behind the bar.
Royal reporter Rebecca English, who was on site with the royal couple for the visit, tweeted about the pint, saying, “The pint William pulled is a special coronation beer brewed by Nicholson’s, Kingmaker Pale Ale. He was given the honour of pulling the first pint of it.”
In another interesting move, the royal couple rode London Underground’s Elizabeth Line subway to get to the pub instead of taking a car. Rebecca added, “While on the tube, they met [Transport for London] workers to hear about how they’re preparing for the #Coronation.”
If you didn’t see, we just heard a big update about Prince William‘s relationship with his brother, Prince Harry.
FYI: Princess Catherine is wearing an Eponine London coat.
