-Trix-, 10 hours agoWhy would that happen? I hope i don’t see that daySamsung supports for 5 years even the budget trash phones. And google 4 years and oneplus 3 years. All the others are trash at supporting. Some do it like when they feel like it or only to premium but even then only for 1 or 2 years. And so on.
Plus read my other comment scroll down a tiny bit and youll see why android is superior.

We have no clue what so ever what majority of users want.
There is no statistics about it and majority of android market is cheap android phones to something up to 350 euro
Never mind that all phones are full of tricks and you maybe use 5% of these tricks your phone is able to do. Also there is still a large market for used phones that are even 5 years old or older. You think people who buy used phones hope updates from the phones ?

I would think Samsung that has like 20 models a year would sell a lot more phones then apple with there 3-4 models a year.
Especially when Samsung have 100 euro to 600 euro covered with all types of choices of phones. Want A class, Want S class, Want M class or F class that all have like at least 6 models.
To be honest i would not even compare apple products with any of the android brands.
If there only would be 3rd OS for phones that be like IOS closed garden then these can compete each other. But now if you want to compare something with IOS devices then you can compare it with Android devices without brands as have all brands that use Android to compare the sales numbers.
As how much is sold IOS devices and how much is sold Android devices.
That be fair comparison cause all android brands are competing with each other in android market. IOS is pretty much a different planet in this conversation

Despite Indonesia doesn’t have its own Apple Store nor Genius Bar, get the latest iPhone 3-4 months after release, and paid almost double the suggested US retail price. It even worse for iPads and Macbooks here. Not to mention plethora of unavailable services here. No I’m not talking about UWB but services as basic as Apple Wallet and Apple News. Very differently how Apple treated India

If you don’t care about the latest like me, one can got an older iPhone but brand new with one year guarantee for about the same price like Chinese phones or midrange Samsungs. I got an iPhone 11 last year for 450 dollars and although it is an older model the quality of the phone is really premium, better than any Android at that price level. It is well known that iPhones hold well when it comes to performance. I didn’t break the bank and the phone can last for many years.

I’ll bet you have a 128kb internet speed while I’m on 200MB data connection speed 😏

Its a phone that could very well be distributed to the masses.
The phone market needs to be regulated to the point where no one can gain too much power or market share.
