Susan was taken into custody along with former New York lieutenant governor candidate Ana Maria Archila, Spectrum News 1 Albany reports.
According to WNYT-TV, Susan and the others were booked, issued appearance tickets, and then released.
Susan went to Albany to push for legislation that would increase the minimum wage of tipped restaurant workers. New York leaders are set to increase the state’s minimum wage to $17 an hour, but the One Fair Wage nonprofit says that tipped workers are excluded from the legislation.
This isn’t the first time Susan has been arrested during a protest.
In 2018, she was arrested for protesting then-President Donald Trump‘s immigration policy.
