PR Counsel Managing Director Kristy McSweeney says Co-Founder of the Sydney Theatre Awards Diana Simmonds joins a long list of people in the performing arts who are sick of “woke culture” after she criticised the award’s gender-neutral category.
“I would think someone like that would be chased off the wharf down under Milsons Point pretty fast for expressing those types of views,” Ms McSweeney told Sky News host Caleb Bond.
