The outlet says that First AD Richard White first organized the donation, along with cast members Patrick John Flueger, Marina Squerciati, Amy Morton and Tracy Spiridakos, executive producer/showrunner Gwen Sigan, writer/executive producer Gavin Harris and writer/co-executive producer Scott Gold.
Each of them pitched in $1,500, and a second wave is coming.
LaRoyce Hawkins is planning to donate with the second round, according to Richard. The total that was raised for the PAs and entry-level staffers is around $25,000.
“They are a really good team of kids,” Richard shared. “I had the idea, as the strike was going on, of trying to do something for them because I knew they would be the ones that really would be hurting the most.”
