Jimmy Buffett has sadly passed away.
On Friday night (September 1), it was announced that the musician, best know for his hit song Margaritaville,” had died while surrounded by his friends and family. He was 76-years-old.

“Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs,” read the statement on Jimmy‘s website. “He lived his life like a song till the very last breath and will be missed beyond measure by so many.”
As of right now, a cause of death has not been publicly revealed.
Jimmy released his hit song “Margaritaville” back on February 14, 11977. It was featured on his album Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes, and spent 22 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at No. 8. It was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2016 for its cultural and historic significance.
Jimmy is survived by wife Jane and kids Savannah, Sarah, and Cameron.
