Southern District Police Link visited Flinders Medical Centre’s Paediatric Unit on Friday to bring the Royal Adelaide Show to sick children and their parents unable to make it this year.

Police officers handed out show bags which were kindly donated by The Royal Adelaide Show. The first visit was by Sergeant Sophie and Senior Constable First Class Lauren with Lewis, aged three years.

The second was by Brevet Sergeant Trish with Lara, aged five years.

Advice was provided to parents and children about being safe at the Show in and around large crowds, and what to do if people become lost or separated.

A fun day was had by all, and hopefully the visit made some sick children smile and feel a bit better.
