Tiffany Haddish knows that you’re talking about her after she went viral at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, and she has something to say in response.

If you missed it, the 43-year-old Girls Trip actress seemingly photobombed Shakira backstage while she was posing with her Video Vanguard Award. The pair posed for a staged photo together, too.

There was also a viral video of Tiffany seemingly chasing Shakira down while shouting her name.

Reactions to her behavior have been mixed, and the conversation has continued online since the awards show on Tuesday (September 12). Tiffany took to social media to react to the continued interest in the moment.

“This soooooo interesting to me. If you feel like I did to much All of y’all better be buying @shakira new album,” Tiffany wrote in response to a message rounded up the incidents on X (formerly Twitter). “This experience has [allowed] me to realize how truly popular I am. I appreciate all of your opinions… Thank You 🙏🏽 Shana Tova.”

She seemingly continued to comment on the situation in a second post shared a day later.

“When people make videos about me or talk about me Good or bad. I just think Thank you all for making me more famous and relevant,” she wrote. “I see it’s driving the enemy crazy cause they really want to be where I am, It will never happen. 😂😂😂😂😂”
