A popular comedian and actor is making his way to a Topeka stage with laughter on the line.

Eddie Griffin will bring his standup comedy tour to the Topeka Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. May 11.

Griffin jumped onto the comedy scene in 1990. As an actor, he has appeared in more than 50 films, such as “The Last Boy Scout” (1991), “Coneheads” (1993), “Armageddon” (1998), “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo” (1999), “Norbit” (2007), “American Hero” (2015) “Mucho Dinero” (2016) and “A Star is Born” (2018).

Griffin can be found performing at a weekly Las Vegas residency. The Eddie Griffin Experience is at the Sahara Hotel and Casino.

Tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. Friday on Ticketmaster.com.

Tickets are priced at $45 before tax.
