Luisa Wilson WTF?

Memphis-born, NYC-based singer, guitarist, songwriter, and pianist Luisa Wilson has released her latest single “WTF?” and announced her upcoming Fall EP, “LOVE ON MARS?”

On the making of “WTF?” Luisa says, “The idea came to me when I was lying in bed late at night with my guitar. I was going through one of many endings to one of many failed relationships and it was just the first thought that came to mind; “WTF? ….this happened again, kinda down on my luck.” It just felt very natural and true to what I was going through in that moment. It was frustration, discouragement, and just had to be the first line of the song.”

Luisa will bring “WTF?” to the live stage at her upcoming NYC performances at Bowery Palace on Sunday, August 30 with Imogen Valentine, Kyra Baskin, and Isabella Kensington, Pianos on Wednesday, September 2 with Lucy Bright and Hannah Williams, and the Mondo NYC 2026 showcase at Arlo Williamsburg’s The Mirror Bar on Thursday, October 15. Luisa recently graduated from NYU’s esteemed Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and was selected to perform the National Anthem for the NYU graduation at Yankee Stadium. She also recently “stepped to the mike,” joining artist Michael Minelli on Fallen Media’s viral tiktok series “Step To The Mike.” Luisa performed her own verse to Michael’s single “Call Me When It Rains” live in Washington Square Park. The video has already racked up thousands of comments and over four million views.

Earlier this year Luisa released the Love & Oxygen (Live in Bushwick) EP, where she blends classical sounds with modern pop elements and explores a range of sonic landscapes: from folk to R&B, and large, ethereal ballads to quieter, more introspective pieces. The live EP was performed alongside the Dali Rose band, catapulting listeners right to Beale Street.
