Puck and Audacy unveil new political podcast

A new video podcast hosted by Peter Hamby will offer listeners an insider’s perspective on the evolving landscape of American politics as the 2028 presidential race approaches.

The Making of a President, produced by Puck in partnership with Audacy, will launch on 8 September with former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel as its first guest.

Each week, Hamby will speak with campaign strategists, pollsters, lobbyists, politicians, and behind-the-scenes power players, providing a detailed look at the forces shaping the next presidential election.

Episodes will be available on Apple, Spotify, YouTube, and other major platforms, with Bayer as the sponsor. Audacy is handling sales, marketing, production, and distribution for the show.

Peter Hamby, who became Puck’s chief national correspondent full-time in June, said: “The race to the 2028 election is just getting started and the next two years will be crucial in deciding the future of American politics.”

He added that the show will take subscribers behind the scenes for a real inside look at the rise to power of the next president.
