Social networks, online media have undergone a revolution in the last decade. In Albania, according to official data, there are nearly 700 registered portals according to the Media Institute, some mainly informative, some perhaps unregistered, some working professionally, doing journalism, some defaming or imposing fines.
A chaos in online media that will not end now, but will have the most fantastic portal, the icon of Albanian humor, “Hosteni”, which is expected to return online.
The iconic humor newspaper, which survived the dictatorship and began publishing in 1945, will now be online to bring more smiles, irony, and perhaps even criticism with sarcasm and humor that “kill” more than direct speech.
CNA has learned that “Hosteni” is expected to hit the market soon. The iconic magazine, which has been around since 1992, has been missing, not only from the media market, but also from citizens, for its humor and detailed analysis of social phenomena, which touch in a completely different way, coming through words, language or cartoons that “Hosteni” will hit.
The Albanian humor icon, which was first founded in 1945, is soon expected to be returned by Filip Çakuli, who has been running this newspaper for years, which will now go from its printed form to online for all Albanians.
In a corner of CNA, you will soon have one more click to go to “Hosteni” to have a little humor, a little smile, and why not more reflection through jokes, caricatures, and teasing that will come, not only from the pen of Filip Çakuli, but also from his collaborators, who are expected to bring a humor page, which will address current issues with jokes, teasing, and smiles, why not to remove that little bit of boredom that the chaotic news and cacophony of the day give, which will now have a real competitor, which will be humor through “Hosteni”./ CNA
