Jamie Foxx talks gangbangers, getting older and laughing out loud in his new Hulu special, “Take Care of Yourself”

“I cannot tell you how great it feels to be in front of you.”

Jamie Foxx is back on stage and ready to make you laugh with his new comedy special for Hulu called “Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself.”

The official description calls the special his “most honest, evolved and unforgettable chapter yet.”

In the trailer, seen in the video player above, Foxx jokes about his age saying, “I knew I was old when I was getting dressed, I put on a mock neck (shirt). My sister’s watching me like ‘what (are) you doing?’ I’m going out. She said, ‘you look old.’ I said, ‘no, I look presentable!’

He also jokes about living in an all-white neighborhood and being confronted by a gangbanger there.

“I said, ‘How did you get in here?’ My white friends didn’t know what was going (on). ‘Is this your cousin?’ No, this is danger!'”
