Summer isn’t over but former Prime Minster Justin Trudeau is sharing some highlights from what’s made the season “so special” thus far.

Trudeau, 54, posted a carousel of photos on Instagram on Friday, highlighting what the last couple of months have been like.
“Grateful for the moments that made this summer so special, and for the people I got to share them with,” he wrote.
Obviously, girlfriend of more than a year Katy Perry made the cut, with the loved-up couple snuggling close while enjoying a beer together.
He also posed with Reuben and the Dark frontman Reuben Bullock, who he gushed about a month ago about in a separate Instagram video.
Family comes first
But family was the priority for much of the summer with his three kids, who he shares with ex-wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, prominent in many of the snaps.
He led with a photo of him and his kids – sons Xavier, 18, and Hadien, 12, and 17-year-old daughter Ella Grace – flanking his mother Margaret.
Trudeau also shared a photo from Ella Grace’s graduation day, and another pic of him and Hadien in life jackets and holding oars while on holiday.

Lovey dovey, schmoopy, woopy
Trudeau and Perry’s red carpet debut at the 25th Annual Tribeca Festival and the premiere of the concert film Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris failed to make the cut – but were no doubt just as special.
Perry mentioned her relationship at a post-screening Q&A, saying, “I feel like a more grounded person in so many aspects of my life.”
She added: “I am very in love. And actually, that show was after I met the love of my life and so I felt very anchored by that because I’m a little bit like a rainbow kite – I fly super high.”
The Firework singer explained: “Sometimes I need to be anchored, so to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now.”
